Ideas and actions taken by employees of this department have a real impact on purchase decisions made by consumers, as well as the entire business, because often it is the marketing area that initiates processes and indicates the product growth directions thanks to cross-departments collaboration on projects.
Areas of development within the Marketing department
In Brand Marketing we take care of our brand development strategy from the moment the idea is conceived to the product launch. We define local or collaborate on creating global strategies; along with creative agencies we come up with creative campaign concepts and together with our colleagues from other departments we take part in the development of product packaging and creating promotional campaigns for consumers. We do research, test, analyze... and we do all of that really fast, because we understand the impact of our work on the whole business.
Strategy & Insights Management provides our companies with vital market information. We support our brands by carrying out dozens of market data analyses and consumer research studies annually. We improve research methodologies and prepare data regarding market situation and customer and consumer expectations and then we translate them into our situation and try to understand the mechanisms behind consumer decisions regarding specific Danone companies.
Digital Marketing team members take care of adequate communication and our brand positioning development in all relevant communication channels online and offline. Here we plan strategies which will allow us to reach our business goals and increase visibility of our products; we plan and create – in collaboration with e.g. brand marketing area – diversified media campaigns while holding constant dialogue with our consumers.
